Barnone

WHO ARE WE?

A COMMUNITY STUDIO

BARnONE Studio – housed in one of the property’s original, and now renovated, barns – was created to be intimate place where members of our local community can explore interests, ideas, creativity, and movement. From art and crafting classes to yoga, zumba, sound healing, and drumming practices, or film screenings, seminars and discussions, BARnONE is a safe, affordable, welcoming space for all to use and enjoy.

The studio encompasses both a movement studio area and an art creation space. Together, they can be used for workshops, lectures, evening events, gallery showings, music performances… the list goes on and on. We’re pleased to offer this beautiful barn to our friends, neighbours, and interested teachers to grow their skills, knowledge, and relationships. Read on to see how we organize the use, enjoyment, and care of this historic building.

MOVEMENT STUDIO SPACE

BARnONE  If you’re a yoga, zumba, drumming, or any other sort of teacher in the area looking for an affordable, welcoming environment out of which to grow your business and skills, we’d love to hear from you. That’s why we’re here!

ART STUDIO SPACE

Our art and crafting space is set up for creative play and production. Bright and clean with plenty of workspace, it can be used by individuals or groups to work, study, or teach. Think crafting classes, workshops, gallery showings, or simply a space out of your own home to work on personal projects. Have an idea? Let’s talk about it. Our event schedule for the season is coming very soon!

OVER THE FENCE SOCIALS

Held often throughout the summer season, these gatherings – evenings of interest – range broadly in focus but are always centred on promoting the spirit of neighbourliness. Information about upcoming events (and a sign-up form) usually comes available the month before. If you’d like to contribute to an evening or have an idea for a social, please let us know!

“BARnONE Studio is a space that links residents together in a peaceful and mindful way.”
