Prepaid Farm Account. What is it?
Your prepaid farm account is based on the Community Supported Agriculture model (CSA), where farmers sell their harvest directly to local customers. The Prepaid Farm Account is a mutually positive relationship; we the farmers benefit by pre-selling our products and services, which allows for better planning and less waste. You the customer have a flexible, prepaid account with which you can buy or not buy our offerings weekly, choosing from a wide variety of products and services, and the most convenient times for you to pick up your fresh produce. An initial payment of $200 is required to open your account, which can be topped up at anytime in increments of $100. All produce is picked on Wednesday or Thursday to guarantee the most immediate field to fork relationship. You’ll receive a produce list email each Monday detailing what is available, so you’ll have lots of time to place your order by Wednesday at 12 noon.
